Cocovida - Virgin Coconut Oil (VCO)

Cocovida is a young Philippine company that produces premium quality, cold-processed, virgin coconut oil. Recent studies have shown that the saturated fats in coconut oil are predominantly "good fats". The medium chain fatty acids which account for about 64% of VCO have been shown to have, among other beneftis, tremendous antiviral, antifungal and antibacteriel properties. In fact lauric acid, which constitutes around 50% of VCO, is found in such abundance in only one other source, mothers milk.
